MAN WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH HIS SISTER’S DEATH CAUGHT IN PUTNAM COUNTY
Monday morning, authorities arrested a man in Putnam County who is wanted in connection with the murder of his older sister in Kentucky. The Herald Citizen says that 66-year-old Arthur A. Long of Chicago, was taken into custody after he attempted to flee from officers from the Buffalo Valley rest area. The body of 68-year-old Nancy P. Minor was discovered in her Eddyville, KY home on Nov. 30. The probable cause of death was cited as blunt force trauma. The victim’s Chevy Malibu was reportedly missing from the scene. Long was driving such a vehicle when he was stopped by Putnam County Deputies and Cookeville Police. He faces several charges including aggravated assault and evading arrest.
