MARYVILLE WOMAN CHARGED WITH TRYING TO SMOTHER HUSBAND WITH PILLOW
Maryville Police say a woman attempted to smother her husband with a pillow while he was in the hospital. 52-year-old Sheila D. Hardin is facing an attempted criminal homicide charge. According to officers, Hardin allegedly placed a pillow over her husband’s face while he was at the Blount Memorial Hospital Tuesday. Evidence was gathered from witness reports and from Hardin herself. She appeared in court Wednesday with her bond being set at $70,000.
