MASSEY AND VANRUDEN FROM CROSSVILLE POLICE HONORED WITH STATE AWARD
The Tennessee Highway Safety Office held its annual awards meeting yesterday at the Cookeville Police Department. Crossville Police Department Patrol K9 Sergeant Chrystal Massey and School Resource Master Patrol Officer Scott VanRuden were recognized for their exemplary service to the Cumberland Region and the City of Crossville.
Sgt. Massey was awarded the 2023 DUI Sergeant of the Year and MPO VanRuden was awarded the 2023 Teen Driver Safety Award for the entire Cumberland Region of the Tennessee Highway Safety Office.
The Crossville Police Department says the dedication of both Sgt. Massey and MPO VanRuden are shining examples of commitment, community care, and professionalism. They are to be commended and recognized for their extraordinary efforts and dedication to public safety, with the utmost appreciation of the Crossville Police Department.
