MAY 2020 VEHICLE TAGS IN TENNESSEE DON’T HAVE TO BE RENEWED UNTIL JUNE 15, 2020

Tennessee motor vehicle registration renewals due in May 2020 have been extended to June 15, 2020. That is according to Executive Order #36 signed by Governor Bill Lee. To avoid any unnecessary face-to-face contact amid COVID-19, motorists are encouraged to renew their registration online at tncountyclerk.com. If you do not have online access or your county does not have online renewals, you can find your local county clerk’s office address on the website and mail in your renewal. Assistance is also available through the state title and registration Hotline at (615) 741-3101.
