MCDANIEL ARRAIGNED FOR RAPE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY CRIMINAL COURT
A man was arraigned in Cumberland County Criminal Court today for rape. Authorities in Greenville, South Carolina transported 26-year-old Quentin Eugene McDaniel back in March to Cumberland County after McDaniels was indicted by a grand jury. McDaniel was processed at the Cumberland County jail and according to jail officials, made a $50,000 bond. The indictment states McDaniel between January 29 and 30 of 2018, forced himself sexually on a 14-year-old victim. In court today, McDaniel was ordered by the judge to return to court with an attorney on July 6, 2020. If convicted of the Class B felony rape charge, McDaniel faces a range of 8 to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000.
