HOWARD ARRAIGNED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY CRIMINAL COURT CHARGED WITH ANIMAL CRUELTY
A Crossville woman indicted by a grand jury in Cumberland County earlier this year for aggravated animal cruelty was arraigned in criminal court today. Court officials say 24-year-old Jordyn Shea Howard with no justifiable purpose caused serious physical injury to a dog at a Prentice Street home. The dog was rescued by A Time 4 Paws volunteer. The canine was taken to a veterinarian and later euthanized because of its poor health after being very malnourished. In court today, the judge set a return date of July 6, 2020 for Howard to appear again with an attorney.
