A man in Roane County was taken into custody yesterday following a disturbance on Hilltop Lane. The reports states 58-year-old Michael William McDonald grabbed a child by her arm and pulled his arm back like he was going to hit her. The girl already had a bruise on her face from a previous incident but unknown if it was caused by McDonald. Detectives referred the child to be sent to Children’s Hospital for an examination. McDonald was charged with domestic assault.
