The Tennessee Highway Patrol, and local authorities, will come together today to honor a fallen officer from Cumberland County. Memorial services for 64-year-old Randy Joseph Elmore of Crossville will be held today (Thursday, September 5, 2019) at 7 p.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville. Burial will be at a later date in Woody Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Elmore served the Tennessee Highway Patrol for 32 years. He retired as assistant special agent in the Criminal Investigation Division of the highway patrol in 2009. Elmore passed away from natural causes.
