MIRACLE IN MEIGS – TWO CREDITED FOR SAVING LIFE OF ELDERLY MAN IN FIRE

The quick actions of two individuals are being credited for a life being saved in Meigs County. Dispatcher Crystal Long took a 911 call from an elderly handicapped man whose house was on fire and he could not get out. Long called for emergency crews to respond and she was able to keep the man on the phone until they got on scene. Mike Arp was first there and was able to pull the man just far enough out for them both to get fresh air while waiting for firefighters to arrive. Not only was that gentleman saved but his home was saved as well.
