MISSING 4-YEAR-OLD ANDERSON COUNTY BOY FOUND SAFE

Authorities located a missing 4-year-old boy out of Anderson County mid this afternoon (Friday, May 5, 2017). The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said they originally received a call at 10:43 a.m. this morning for a report of a 4-year-old boy missing from a home in the Hinds Creek Road area. Multiple agencies including helicopters and the Knoxville Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad dive team were activated to search water areas at Hinds Creek Road with crossroads at Hill Road and Collins Gap Road. The dive team was requested to assist in the search out of caution. The child is reportedly safe.
