A vehicle accident in Bledsoe County early yesterday morning (Thursday, November 23, 2017) resulted in a man being lost. Officers say the accident took place around 3:30 a.m. in the Luminary community where a vehicle lost control and crashed. After the accident, a male family member left on foot in an attempt to get help for his family. The man did not make it back to the scene. After discovering the accident, Bledsoe County authorities were able to quickly mobilize the rescue team being it was on Thanksgiving and started a search and rescue effort for the missing man. A command post was set up at Webb’s Chapel Church. Crews soon found tracks leading them to the lost man who was found late yesterday morning, The names of those involved were not immediately made available by law enforcement.
