MOCKINGBIRD DRIVE STOLEN SIGNS CASE IS PUSHED BACK TO NOVEMBER

The theft case in which a City of Crossville employee is involved has been pushed back. According to the Cumberland County Circuit Court Office the case, which concerns the theft of signs at a home on Mockingbird Drive, will be held in General Sessions Court on Nov. 10th. It was originally set for Oct. 31st. the defendants in the case are Jerry Kerley, the Director of Water Resources for the City of Crossville, and William Harwell who is employed by the Crossville Airport. District Attorney Bryant Dunaway has been investigating the incident. An eye-witness video recording shows a truck, later identified as Kerley’s, pull up to the home, and two men systematically remove the signs from the home and yard. The District Attorney has confirmed that the stolen signs were later recovered at the Crossville Airport.
