MONDAY MORNING SEVERE STORMS CA– USE PROBLEMS ACROSS THE REGION
Storms moving through the Upper Cumberland Region brought plenty of problems Monday morning. Torrents of rain began pouring down in the early morning hours making a much-soaked ground even more so and causing several trees to topple in Cumberland County. Trees fell onto roadways effectively blocking them from travel. Those trees that did not fall on the road fell onto power lines. At one time over 5000 residents were without power in the eastern and south eastern portion of the county. There were no major accidents reported.
