MONTEREY MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
A Cumberland County deputy pulled over a vehicle yesterday on I-40 for reportedly following too close to another automobile. Officers encountered 51-year-old Danny Lee Coleman of Monterey who was found to supposedly have two bags of meth on him. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a lunch box with seven bags of meth and two bags of pills inside. The officers also reportedly located a loaded firearm in the glove box of the vehicle. Coleman was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and a controlled substance, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, unlawful possession of a firearm and simple possession of drugs.
