MORE DETAILS ON HARRIMAN FATAL SHOOTING

More information has been released concerning a fatal shooting in Harriman earlier this week. Sunday evening, 23-year-old MarStratton Gordon, a US Army soldier who had been stationed at Fort Campbell, was shot and killed by his girlfriend’s 15-year-old brother. According to a press release from the police department and District Attorney’s Office, preliminary results of the investigation revealed that Gordon had been in-between deployments and had been visiting the woman at the Byrd Avenue home, when a domestic altercation broke out which led to the teen firing a single shot and killing Gordon. 911 Dispatch then reported that the juvenile called and said that he had shot his sister’s boyfriend in the face after a fight. The boy, whose name has not been released, was arrested and has been placed in a juvenile holding facility. It’s unknown at this time, how authorities will proceed in the case.
