More details have been released on an ATV accident which took place in Cumberland County Tuesday. Deputies and emergency personnel responded to the call at Cold Springs Rd, approximately one mile off of Potato Farm Rd. in the northern end of the county. The 17-year-old local juvenile driving the vehicle reportedly went airborne and crashed. A landing zone was established nearby for a medical helicopter and the teen was airlifted to UT Medical Center for treatment of a head wound and fractured leg. The boy is recuperating at the present time and expected to recover fully.
