More details have been released concerning a semi vs. motorcycle crash which took place in Cumberland County Tuesday. Details of the crash itself, which took place at the 10000 block of Highway 70 East in Crab Orchard, are still sketchy but both the 64-year-old male driver of the motorcycle and his 57-year-old female passenger sustained multiple injuries in the accident. A landing zone was established at Crab Orchard City Hall for two Lifestar medical helicopters. Both individuals, who were unidentified, were airlifted to UT Medical Center for treatment. There was no report on whether or not the truck driver was injured. 1057 News will have more information as it is released.
