The Blount County Sheriff’s Department says a Louisville, Tennessee man is in custody on several counts of aggravated assault and kidnapping.

The report states 28-year-old Edward Morgan held a woman captive and repeatedly beat her.

The victims injuries included a black eye, multiple cigarette burns on her body, and several cut and stab wounds on both her arms and legs.

Morgan is being held in the Blount County Corrections Facility on bonds of over $400,000.
