Morgan County Schools is set to repair and replace its aging heating and cooling systems following a $66,365 state grant presentation by Tennessee State Treasurer David H. Lillard Jr. and State Representative Ed Butler.

The funds, awarded through Tennessee’s Public School Construction and Maintenance Fund, arrive at a critical time for the district.

About the Program

The Public School Construction and Maintenance program is administered by the Tennessee Department of Treasury to help districts tackle facility needs.
