A motorcycle accident in Cumberland County this morning resulted in one injury. Zachary Welch, age 26, of Monterey was traveling south on Highway 70 North on a 2017 Honda near Cumberland Cove Market when a deer ran out into his path. Welch could not take evasive action in time and hit the animal. Welch ran off the road and came to rest down an embankment. He was treated for minor injuries.
