Deputies and medics in Cumberland County went to the scene of a motorcycle accident early last night on the 300 block of Howard Springs Road. Upon arrival officers discovered the rider, 26-year-old Richard Tyler Hodgins of Crossville, in a ditch. The report states he was traveling north when Hodgins ran off the right side of the roadway. He was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
