THEFTS REPORTED FROM HOMES OVER 4th OF JULY HOLIDAY
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department responded to three theft incidents over the 4th of July holiday. Deputies went to a home construction site on Vandever Road where around $2,000 in power tools were taken. A resident of York Lane indicated over $16,000 in mowers, a Kabota side by side and tools stolen. A homeowner on Poplar Drive had two chainsaws removed without permission off a porch valued at $300.
