Law enforcement and medics responded to a motorcycle crash yesterday morning on I-40 in Cumberland County.

Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist lost control at the 336-mile marker around 9 a.m. Easter morning and collided with a vehicle.

The impact resulted in the helmet of the rider coming off.

The motorcyclist passed away from injuries sustained.
