MURRAY ARRESTED FOLLOWING HIT AND RUN INCIDENT IN HARRIMAN

Harriman police officers responded to the area of South Roane Street and West Hills Drive Saturday for a hit and run. The report states a grey Honda Acura driven by 22-year-old Dylan H. Murray of Oak Ridge struck a Ford Explorer and reportedly kept going. Officers later spotted Murray driving on Swan Pond Road and a chase started leading to Highland Drive where the Acura was found behind a barn but Murray was gone. A family member of Murray picked him up later and brought him to the Harriman Police Department where Murray was charged with evading arrest, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to exercise due care.
