NASHVILLE MAN BUSTED FOR SWINDLING CROSSVILLE, SPARTA BUSINESSES
A man who swindled several regional businesses out of hundreds of dollars has been arrested and charged with four counts of theft. 59-year-old Gregory Keith Oxendine of Old Hickory was taken into custody earlier this week. Oxendine is accused of entering different businesses and collecting money for the creation of custom-designed T-shirts and caps which he never made good on. The victims were convinced that Oxendine was legitimate even down to professional business cards and brochures. According to warrants, Oxendine pulled cons in Crossville and Sparta and other areas. He is currently in the White County Jail.
