NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK PROGRAM IN CUMBERLAND CO.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department will participate with the Drug Enforcement Administration for the “National Prescription Drug Take-Back Initiative.” The sheriff’s office will help citizens to properly dispose of unused and expired medication. This keeps medicine out of the hands of someone who might abuse them while protecting the environment. This also helps decrease crime in the community and it is the sheriff’s department belief that this initiative saves lives. The program will be held at the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department at 90 Justice Center Drive in Crossville from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on October 27, 2018.
