Crossville police responded yesterday to a home on Mockingbird Drive for a theft.

A male told officers he returned to the residence after being incarcerated to discover many items stolen from inside a safe.

The incident report states the items included a Rolex watch, numerous gold coins, and several old U.S. currency bills. The value of all of the items was near $165,000.

A suspect was named in the theft.
