Nearly a dozen Cumberland County veterans will be part of Honor Air flight 34 to Washington, D.C. tomorrow morning (Wednesday, April 10, 2024).

The group will visit memorials in the nation’s capital.

A bus will pull out from the Holiday Inn Express parking lot on Peavine Road with the veterans at 4:30 a.m. Central tomorrow.

They should arrive in Washington, D.C. around 10:30 a.m.

They will return to Crossville after they arrive back in Knoxville following a reception.

The bus is scheduled to arrive at the Holiday Inn Express in Crossville around 8:45 p.m. tomorrow.

The public is encouraged to attend to welcome the veterans home.
