Rockwood City Council members met in a special called session yesterday (Monday, August 14, 2017) to appoint someone to fill the un-expired term of City Judge Mark Foster. Foster left the seat last month to join his wife, who accepted a job, in Kentucky. The Council voted to appoint longtime attorney James Smith to fill the seat until December 2018, which is the time slated for Fosters term to end.
