The Oakdale Area Volunteer Fire Department has announced its gratitude to the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office following the receipt of a Volunteer Firefighter Equipment and Training (VFEAT) Grant.

The crucial state funding enabled the department to acquire new turnout gear and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) air packs. These vital upgrades replace aging equipment, ensuring local volunteer firefighters are equipped with modern, dependable protection when responding to emergencies throughout the community.
