Two Tennessee Tech professors have organized what they call a peaceful event in Cookeville.  The event is organized by Julia Gruber and Colleen Hays.  The event, dubbed “Occupy Cookeville” will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday on the courthouse lawn. If there’s snow or extreme cold, it’ll be rescheduled for the following Sunday. A Facebook event page states the event encourages people to keep the momentum of the women’s marches last weekend going, with the inclusion of minority groups, environmental and artistic groups. “Let’s be snowflakes. Snowflakes are beautiful and diverse and complicated,” the group page stated.
