OFFICIALS BAN CERTAIN RIDES FROM TENNESSEE FAIRS THIS SUMMER
We’re still a few months away from summer fun and the beginning of fair season in the Volunteer State. In the hopes of making families feel safer this year, several thrill rides have been banned from the state. Those rides that have been deemed too dangerous by the Tennessee Dept. of Labor and Workforce Development are said to be too similar to one that was involved in a fatal accident in Ohio last year. That ride was called the Fireball. State Officials said that they did not want to take any chances of accidents happening with these devices.
