A historical site in downtown Harriman will be torn down soon. The old hospital on Highway 27was built back in the 1930’s and served countless patients and employed numerous citizens of Roane County and the surrounding area. The cost for the demolition is estimated to be just over $1 million. Once leveled, the property will be used as a parking lot.
