Two people were injured after a two vehicle accident this morning (Monday, September 11, 2017) in Crossville. Fire and medical crews responded to Highway 70 West near the intersection of Northside Drive where a one ton produce truck hit a white pickup truck. According to sources, the driver of the pickup, Gary White of Crossville, was airlifted to an area trauma center for treatment of injuries. The driver of the produce truck was treated for minor injuries. The highway at the scene of the accident, was closed for a while as the accident was being investigated and later cleared.
