A vehicle accident around noon today at the 308 eastbound mile marker of I-40 in Cumberland County resulted in an injury. Lifeforce was called and landed at the scene to transport the driver after being cut from the wreckage to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment. A full accident report, including the identity of the driver, will be released later by the highway patrol.
