ONE INJURED AFTER WHEEL FROM SEMI HITS VEHICLE ON I-40
A vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Roane County early this morning (Wednesday, December 13, 2017) resulted in a Fentress County man being slightly injured. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2016 Ford Eagle driven by 54-year-old Gregory Hollenback of Jamestown, Tennessee was traveling east at the 353 mile marker when his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer wheel that came off a semi that was in front of Hollenback. The wheel impacted the Ford in the front left side. Hollenback received minor injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, 56-year-old Vicky Hollenback, was not hurt. The tractor-trailer kept going and was not located.
