A Blount County man was killed and his wife was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Friday night. Officers say 60-year-old John Greene of Friendsville died a short time after arriving at UT Medical Center. The passenger on his motorcycle, 60-year-old Randi Greene, was last reported in stable condition at UT Medical Center. Officers say Greene and his wife were traveling west on West Lamar Alexander near Lane Drive when another driver drove into their path as he attempted to cross the westbound lanes to cross over to Lane Drive. The occupants of the car weren’t injured. Authorities say both John and Randi Greene were wearing helmets.
