One man is dead after a shooting South of the River Friday night. Roane County Sheriff Jack Stockton said dispatch received a call about 10 p.m. reporting a man had been shot during a break-in at a home near 1500 River Road. When officers arrived they found the body of a man lying on the ground with a wound in the chest from a 12-gauge shotgun. The dead man was identified as Robert Rosado, age 47. The shooter has been identified as Jennie Partin, who had possibly been in a relationship with Rosado. Detectives are awaiting autopsy results and questioning the shooter. Stockton said there is some doubt about the shooter’s story that it was a home invasion.
