OVER $20,000 IN ITEMS STOLEN IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY BURGLARY
Cumberland County deputies recently responded to a home on the 9300 block of Highway 127 North for a burglary report.
The homeowner told officers someone had broken into his garage.
The burglary reportedly used a skid steer parked outside the building to remove the items. There were tracks and fresh scratches on the bucket of the skid steer. The owner told deputies he left the key in the skid steer the day before.
Deputies listed numerous tools, a generator, and a welder stolen with a total value of over $20,000.
The report did not indicate a suspect in the burglary.
