OVER 25,000 EARLY VOTES COUNTED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Early voting came to an end today, and Cumberland County saw 25,099 citizens turn out to vote. Election Administrator Jill Davis estimates Cumberland County saw more than 5,000 more voters this year than in previous years, with roughly 51% of all registered voters turning up to vote.
The numbers in Roane County echo the high turnout at around 20,056 out of 34,000 registered voters casting their ballots, and 2.5 million statewide.
