OVER $8,000 WORTH OF PROPERTY STOLEN FROM CROSSVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL

A Crossville city officer responded to an Animal Hospital on Friday for a theft report.

When the property owner first arrived, he stated he noticed that the washer and dryer that were supposed to be inside the business were sitting behind his building. After more observation, he noticed in his storage building that a portable animal X-ray machine, the generator for it, and other items were missing.

The officer went to review video footage of surrounding businesses and observed two male subjects walking to the rear of the Animal Hospital taking items out of the building and placing them into the back of a 4-door black older model car. One of the male subjects attempted to load the washer onto a shopping cart and push it but was unsuccessful. The two left in the black car and headed North on Main Street.

The property owner is attempting to obtain the serial numbers of the stolen items. The property stolen was valued at over $8,000.
