It’s not a good idea to drive under the influence anytime but especially when it results in a police cruiser being damaged. James R. Pelfrey, age 63, of Rockwood, found this out recently when he was traveling on the 300 block of North Front Street and got into an accident involving two parked vehicles with the cruiser being one of them. The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the crash and charged Pelfrey with DUI and introducing drugs into a penal institution.
