A recent traffic stop in Cumberland County resulted in a wanted man being taken into custody. A deputy pulled over 38-year-old Andrew Paul Pendergrass of Pikeville on Kanapolis Drive for having no operational tail lights. A check revealed Pendergrass had an active warrant for failing to appear in court on charges of theft of property and vandalism. Pendergrass was taken to the Cumberland County jail.
