PHILIP CARLEN COLE age 83 of Crossville, TN passed away November 20, 2018. He was born June 8, 1935 in Baxter, TN the son of Fred and Opal Maynard Cole. He worked many years in the construction industry as a superintendent and was also a member of Pine Eden Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife- Virginia Cole of Crossville, TN, daughters- Juliet Norris and her husband Mark of Knoxville, TN, Tina Treadway of Crossville, TN and Davida McCoy and her husband Keith of Crossville, TN, sisters- Freda Satterfield and her husband Gerald of Knoxville, TN and Joanne Lansford of Cookeville, TN, grandchildren- Ashley Morales, Jonathan Treadway, Keith McCoy II, Alexis Houston and Stone McCoy and great grandchildren- Brady and Olivia Morales and Phoenix Labbe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Philip C. Cole Jr., stepson- Stephen Mark Cleary and sister- Peggy Joyce Cole.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 26, 2018 at 1pm at Pine Eden Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home or Alzheimer’s and Dementia Research.
