PLANE HEADING TO WHITE COUNTY CRASHES, ONE KILLED

One person was killed and another injured after a plane that was in route from Enterprise, Alabama to Sparta, Tennessee crashed in Alabama. Authorities say a Beechcraft Bonaza crashed a mile from U.S. Highway 280 near Dadeville, Alabama yesterday. Officers say 66-year-old Jeanette Carol Currier died at the scene. Her husband, 67-year-old David Lee Currier, was airlifted to a trauma center in Columbus, Georgia for treatment of critical injuries. Authorities say the wreckage from the plane was spread out over a 75 yard area. The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash.
