Volunteer Energy Cooperative (VEC) will conduct a planned power outage beginning Friday, April 19, 2024, starting at 11:30 p.m. in the Ten Mile area of Roane and Meigs counties.

This outage will affect 6,400 members fed from the Ten Mile Substation and will last approximately 6 hours.

The purpose of the outage is to allow TVA crews to work safely in the area on upgrades.

All affected members are beginning to be notified.
