This week, medics and troopers responded to a single-vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2012 Hyundai Sonata driven by 27-year-old Jordan Cimminger of South Carolina left the interstate and collided with a guard rail.

Cimminger was hurt in the accident.

The accident report says Cimminger was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a Schedule 4 controlled substance.
