POLICE ARREST SUSPECTS IN ATTEMPTED BURGLARY OF STORAGE UNIT
Crossville police went to a storage facility off of North Main Street Friday for a burglary in progress. They arrived to find 50-year-old Carl Anderson Young of Crab Orchard and 45-year-old Kelly Michelle Young of Crossville on scene. The report states a dremel tool, used to cut a lock halfway off, was connected to a surge protector which was hooked up to a vehicle battery. They indicated a subject gave them permission to try to breach the lock but a check of the renter came back to a national corporation. A check of other nearby locks on units seemed to be failed attempts to cut them off. Both were arrested for attempted burglary.
