POLICE SEARCHING FOR TENNESSEE INMATES WHO MADE CHRISTMAS DAY ESCAPE

Deputies in Cocke County, Tennessee are searching for four inmates on the run after escaping through a hole behind a jail toilet.  The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office says six inmates initially escaped on Christmas morning but two were captured. The remaining four remain on the run, with one of the men considered dangerous to the public.  Police say a toilet in the jail had rusted bolts and there was damage to the concrete. The inmates removed the toilet then entered the hole in the wall which allowed them to exit the facility.

The inmates have been identified as David Frazier, 54, charged with aggravated robbery. Frazier is considered dangerous and was awaiting trial at the time of the escape. The other three men are identified as 28-year-old John Shehee, 28-year-old Harce Allen, and 29-year-old Eric Click.

Anyone with information as to their whereabouts is asked to call 423-623-3064 or 423-623-6023.
