“POSSIBLY INTOXICATED” MAN SWALLOWS BAGGIES OF METH AT DOLLAR GENERAL

Crossville police were called to the Dollar General store in Woodmere Mall Wednesday evening for a report of a possibly intoxicated man stuffing baggies of narcotics in his pants pocket. When they arrived, 32-year-old Shawn Daniel Krank of Crossville consented to a search, during which a baggie was discovered in his pocket, containing multiple baggies of a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine.

The police report states Krank grabbed the baggie from the officer’s hand, tore open the top and put the smaller baggies into his mouth. Several attempts to get him to spit the baggies out proved unsuccessful. While he was being transported to jail, Krank swallowed the baggies.
